can you feed this type of chiclid meaty foods? I heard that you can even feed live fish to them? Anyone has/had any experiences feeding live foods?

electric blues aka Sciaenochromis fryeri are carnivores so they would love meaty foods although variety is best. They usually get 6-7'' so I wouldnt start feeding live food until 3.5-4''. And be careful when feeding live foods from the LFS as they can carry disease. I would start off with worms, grub, crickets, small stuff. And they can become spoiled on live food and refuse to eat pellets for a little while so be prepared.
