I have a very important question. I am using Quick Cure to treat Ick . I have my fish in a 10 gallon QT and the Quick Cure has been working great. The dose for Quick Cure is 1 drop per gallon for 5 days. Say I do a 100% water change on the 4th day because of high nitrites and because I wanted to move them to a new 10 gallon setup do I put 40 drops in the new tank or is that too much? Do I just put in 10? Please help, I do not want the 40 drops to be to concentrated and kill the fish. Another way to put it is if I do a 50% water change on the 3rd day do I just put in 10 for that day or do I have to put in more to compensate the drops I put in for days 1 and 2? Thanks

i wrote u, but don't know if u got it. just keep on going like it states in diractions. try to test and do a water change before u put the med in, because then it's harder to figure out how much more needed to replace some med that cleared with water change, unless u did 100% change after u dozed, then just redo the doze needed for that day. often the initial doze is higher than the remaining dozes so the problem would be hit harder.

If the product doesn't state the exact amount of copper that should be in the system during treatment (e.g. 5 ppm), then it's something you should stay away from.

How you normally maintain therapuetic levels is through constant testing with a good copper (or whatever you're dosing) test kit.

quick cure is copper? i read up diraction on how to use. quick cure doesn't have an innitial doze, it's just 1 drop pure gallon a day. o.k. how does your fish look at this point? quick cure states to treat ick in two days. i just wanted to know if that's true

I had no luck with Quick Cure. My Perculas had ich and I treated them for 3 days then change the water and treated for another 3 days. No good - tried another 3 days but was obviously wasting my time.

Quick CUre is working pretty good but Hippo Tang still has Ick after 6 day treatment. Quick Cure has Formalin and Malachite green, Thanks for replies
