ok guys well i will soon be starting my 29gallon as a satlwater setup, heres a list of what i want to do and PLEASE feel free to change some things on the list and add somethings cause im still pretty new

29G tank
2 Maxi-Jet powerhead 1200
1 heater (not sure wich one yet)
half play sand half live sand
im thinking 22 pounds of live rock or is that too much?
filter i have no idea, should i use an undergravel filter and connect it to the power head? or should i get a wet dry? what should i do
also if you guys can add anymore input in this please do!

22 pounds of live rock is not too much, in fact, it's not enough. You probably should plan on 30-50 pounds.

The powerheads, live rock, and live sand are all the filtration you will need to start out. Later on, you might want to add a good protein skimmer. So you don't need a filter, but I have an old HOB filter with no media just for circulation and surface agitation.

And make sure you get a test kit!
