Looks like I'm ready to put my 5.5 inch RD and 4.5 inch JD in my newly cycled 125g. I had them in a divided 50g during the whole setup hopefully having them get use to each other. There were times they tried attack each other through the divider. So are there any precautions on when adding these two in the 125? I'm thinking that they will have enough room to set as territories and lessen fighting. Do I add both at the same time or do I have to add one at a time at certain intervals?

Since the JD is most likely less aggressive(your call) I would put it in first. Make sure you have lots of hiding places and plants/ornaments to break the line of sight for the fish.

When you move the second one in it may help to turn the light off for a day.

OK... So during the weekend, I added my RD. I did it at night and I with the lights off. It was fine for a couple of minutes. Then, here comes my JD picking a fight. My RD was trying to get away and hide in one of the caves, but the JD kept picking at him. I guess my RD couldn't take it anymore so it fought back. I and mean FOUGHT BACK! So now, my JD is totally scared of the RD and now stays, tucked away near the fitler intake. Only comes out when the RD is hiding in his cave. His color isn't the greatest now and kinda pale. I think it's time to add a divider. Too bad. I really wanted to have these two share the 125. Is there a way to do this or is a divider the only way these two can share the tank? I've heard of "target" fish can help. Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear that, worked for me. But I also had an oscar and JD not a RD which is more aggressive than the oscar. I've heard of adding other dither fish to spread aggression, perhaps some small-medium size schooling fish. The hard part is finding something that the RD will tolerate. Otherwise I'd just go with the eggcrate divider.
