My new 10g ....ooops srry i guess i have to warn ya BIG PICS

Hey guys i just started up my first 10 gallon tank and i love it! iunno know about everyone else so this may seem alittle wiered but i enjoy sitting infront on my tank and watching my fish! Basically with this tank i am just starting out seeing how well i can take care of my fish, if all goes well i would look forward to cutting a deal with my parents for christmas and up grading to a larger tank!

I hope the pics come up lol if they don't i'll keep trying! YA i talk my sis in to lettin me use her cam and i tryed as hard as i could to get good pics ...... lol but i seemed right after i gave her, her cam back all the fish started comin out lol!

But ya basically i have:

3 bronze corys ( BEST FISH EVER!!!! )
2 skirt tetras ( one pink one blue, pink one is wayyyyyyy bigger! and is the head off the tank...he always gets to eat first and the others pick up the peaces lol but i guess thats just the way it is and my other fish seem fine with it)
6 neon tetras ( just got them !!! they are great fish love the colours when the light hits them!)

Ya i have lots off rocks in my cave on the left if ya can see it i have a alot of rocks stacked on each other ( the neons get far back under the rocks when they wanna hide its pretty cool ) and i have lots of plants too! the neons love the tall grass on the right ! it is in one of the pics!

Well ya i meen could ya all leave me feed back what i should change, what is good, cool, please i would like negative feed back.....i would like to learn !!!

Cool tank. I like the stacked rocks on the right. I'm just starting up a 10g tank of my own, and I found that I bought many of the same fake plants that you have. :p:

Good luck with your tank, and most of all, enjoy!

P.S. - those pics are HUUUUUGE! Anyone with a 56k connection is going to be very upset with you when they come into your unwarned thread. ;)
 
I actually just started a 10 gallon as well. With some of the same plants. haha. I like your fish too.. Good Luck!
 
Hey good look in the hobby! :)
i started out with a ten with gold fish
then i inherited a 20-29(dunno what it is) half hex community
then a ten gallon guppy wich now has ginzu my african knife in it!
and i recently bought a 40 gallon wich is going to be ginzu's home along with some angels and a dino eel
pretty cool setup!
 
lol I KNOW! everyone seems to have the same fake plants! lol

Ya i really like the way the cave on the right came out, but none of the fish get to use it cause my biggest fish the pink skirt tetra (which is sadly not in any of the pics) does not let any of the other fish inside. Except the corys he seems to like them...? iunno possibly because all the otherl fish are tetras?but still he never hurts anyone so its all good!

O and p.s. man it sounds like ur 40 gallon is gunna be sick! hopefully u have more luck wit ur angles then many people i know have!

hey dude just got back from the store with my dino eel! woo he's awesome. and i got a keyhole chiclid (very peacful) casue he was in my origanal tank plans and he was only a dollar marked down from 5.24! woo agian
