I've been debating what to do with a currently empty 29 gallon tank. One idea I am considering is moving my paradise fish (currently housed alone in a smaller tank) into there and then adding one goldfish.
Do you think that paradise fish and goldfish are compatible? I wouldn't want one to bully the other. If that seems like a bad combo, would a little school of zebra danios be too much for that size of a tank with a goldfish in there? If not, how many danios would you suggest?
Thanks for your advice!

I know that paradisefish and goldies can and do well together, but it depends on the nature of the paradisefish. Some are really aggressive while others are placid.
What type of goldfish? If a fantail type then the smaller fish will work and to be honest a common goldfish would eat the small fish and outgrow the tank quite quickly.

Goldfish are cold water fish, danios and paradisefish are tropical. So, no these fish are not compatible to house together.

Paradisefish as well as danios can and do live in sub tropical and cooler water.
