hi i have just purchased (3 weeks ago) a very large silver shark, when i first put him in he was being bullied a bit by a small rtb shark about 1/8th his size, this has stopped but he is still a really nervous fish and flies around the tank crashing in to the glass and trying to leap out everytime i go near it. I am getting concerned about him because although he has settled down slightly i have never seen him feed, i try putting food in just after lights out etc or feeding in the dark but he never appears to eat yet still appears healthy. Any suggestions as to how to get him to feed properly, as wella svarying the times of day (sneeking up form the side 2 feed as not to startle him etc etc he still doesnt seem to eat (i have tried flake, pellets frozen blood worm, cyclops, live brine shrimp, daphnia but he never appears to eat. The tank is heavily planted with vallis, swords etc (could he be eating these in the night) ?

any ideas as to what i can do ?

Are there plenty of hiding places in there? Lots of cover?

yup !

heavily planted approx 1/4 of the tank can not be seen from the front because of caves etc
