I keep reading in the fert. threads that potassium should be kept at 20 ppm. But I don't see any potassium test kits in the LFS or the online stores. Am I missing something? How do I determine the potassium level in my tank? Thanks
Try Big Al's Online. They should have at least a Hagen Test Kit for PO4. I'm quite happy with mine.

Hey Len - isn't PO4 for phosphates - The question the poster asked was on a Potassium kit. I have been advised to save my money - that no good, reasonably priced potassium test kit exists - so most folks don't test for it
Supe....that's what happens when I'm tired and don't totally absorb what I read. I too have never heard of a reliable Potassium test kit. At least not at a reasonable price. And it's hard to over dose K, especially if you're doing a weekly water change.
