I am setting up a 30 gallon reef tank(36L x 12 1/2W x 17H) with a Refugium/Sump which will be adding another 12 gallons(24L x 12W x 14H). The question is, should I spring the extra money for the ETH inline 200 watt heater and have it run in-line w/my filter (Rena filstar xp3). Or should I just get a standard 150-200 watt submersible heater and put it in either my sump or tank. :dance2:

I don't do sw, but I have 2 of the hydor inline heaters on the output side of canisters and absolutely love them. They have been running for a year or more w/o problems.
