This works nice:cool: Cost like $6 to make.
I stand there until one tanks full shut off the valve hang it on the next tank.
It doesnt jump no holding it in place with the glass lids:eek:
Honestly the nicest thing I've ever made myself.

To make it you need a 1/2 slip threaded end.
Three 90deg elbows, 18" of 1/2" pvc pipe, 1 1/2"slip ball valve,A plumbing thread to garden hose thread adapter and some pvc cement.
I added a whole house filter inline for just my tank filler
BTW if you dont glue the last elbow in the tank you can use it to direct the water.

I've made a couple of these myself, and I agree, for such a simple piece of technology they sure are nice. The only difference in mine is that I put a T, rather than an elbow, on the end. That way I can pump water back into the tank without blasting the fish into a corner or uprooting plants. I can't aim the water flow like you can, though.

If the mods want I could build one and write directions as I photograph each step of assembly. Then place it in the arcives.
