That is a male. The fins of the males are 'pointier' towards the tail.
 
I agree it looks like a male. Another way is to look at the head, there will be more of a bump on the male then the female. Males also tend to be larger then the female when they are full size.

Look at both when they have there fins flared up all the way. Then see who has the pointer dorsal and anal fin. Female have a rounded dorsal and anal fin to them.
