ADFs barfing

I have 2 ADFs and they seem to be barfing!! Everyday I find like 3 barfs on the intake of the filter. I even see them do it!! Is this normal??

A lot of fish will eat as much food as they can, then realize they are full and spit it out. Maybe that's what they are doing.
