Hey guys just wondering alot of info bout this fish is confusing and i just wanted to know what u think would a redtail shark be ok in a 40 gallon tank heavily planted. driftwood and some caves, with fish like cory cats, neon tetras, rasboras, skirt tetras and other community fish ?? i meen i have not got the tank yet but will be soon and was wondering if it is possible to design the tank so that the shark will react better with the other fish? Like will it help if i make only one cave in the tank so that the shark will only set up his territory in one place ...thanks!

i am in the process of cycling and am going to get a couple of dwarf puffers and ADF's when its all done, anyone have any experience in keeping red tailed sharks with these? id really love to have one. my tank is 29 gallons, heavily planted.

your best bet to add nothing but the red tail shark or add everything but the red tail shark. they get really mean and try to kill other fish. maybe if it was in a bigger tank and everything was bigger then him. mine tried to kill everything until i moved him into his own tank. i see story after story about this.
