I was just wondering weather a 7 gallon filterd bowl is ok for a betta. I have been reading the thread on the genral freshwater forum and read some people disgarding bowls for bettas? I ask just out of intrest from a bowl that i saw and that i would love a betta. This would probably never happen unless i find space and convince my mum but i would just like to know. Maybe one day i will find room and convince my mum so this could be valuable research.i couls send you a link to the bowl im intrested in if needed.

Thanks

if it's filtered and heated, I see nothing wrong with getting a betta for it. you could even addd something like a snail or some shrimp if it's social enough.

As long as it is filtered (not just with a plain under gravel filter) and heated it should be fine. You might want to get a cover for it also - bettas can be jumpers!
