hi guys... i have one question... i have 7 tinfoil barbs, 2 pleco and 1 silver dollars in a 4ft tank.. most of the time they will be swimming below but yesterday night when i was looking at them, they were swimming near the water level like there is something to feed on.. at first i thought they were just mistaken the air bubbles as food... but when i look closely they are actually feeding on some ants... those with wings.. i found out that the lights adtrack them, so i quickly switch it off...

is it ok for them to eat those flying ants?? will anything happen to them...?? anyone can tell me??

There's always a risk with wild insects that they could be carrying fertilizers, bacteria, and other things you don't want any of your animals getting into. A few probably won't kill them, but if they start making meals out of the ants i'd suggest getting a canopy or a screen to cover your tank.
