Hi

I have a Dojo Loach and I have just found him at the bottom of the tank struggling to move upside down with his mouth open. He seems very stiff as well.

I have moved him to another tank but does anyone have any ideas what this could be and whar I can do about it?

He is an albino and about 4" long. I have had him for a year and he has beel fine until now.

Thanks in advance

Martin

Current test parameters of the tank he came out of? Size of that tank? Other tankmates?

Any new additions there?

The tank is 35 litres.
All levels are fine but the Nitrate is a little high, 75mg/l
1 new fish added 3/4 weeks ago, all others are fine
There are 3 other small fancy goldfish

Sorry yes
Ammonia 0 mg/l
Nitrite 0.1 mg/l
Nitrate 75 mg/l
pH 8.5

I also did a 5 litre water change at the weekend and I add Stress Zyme (biological filtration booster) on a weekly basis.

Thanks for all the advice guys but unfortunately when I went downstairs he was dead.
I live in Berkshire in the UK, if anyone knows where I can get another one that would be great. My fiancee is very upset, he was her favourite.

There are now 2 small fancy goldfish and 1 pearl scale in the tank, they all seem very happy. I have just changed 1/3 and treated the water to try and reduce the nitrate levels

Thanks again for your help.
