Wut kind of eel is the best for me

I want a eel for my 38 gallon tank something that wont get two big and will do okay in my tank it's going to be the last thing i am going to add in my tank and eventually i'm going to get a bigger tank for my ballas when they outgrow this one they are only a few inches now but i know they will be getting bigger and when they do i'm going to probally get a 75 g for them but anyways i would like to add a eel write now

I would also like to tell everyone that i will be getting a better filter for my tank something like a emperor 400 so it can take some of the stress off my fish

Also if there is a eel that i can just feed flakes or something like that cuz i dont want to refrigerate anything but i will consider live feeding just no refrigerating
 
Almost any eel will probably gobble up the zebra danio's, white clouds and swordtails.
 
really dont eels stay toword the bottom zebras are on the top mainly i would get rid of the white clouds and zebras but the swordtails are 2-3 inches i think they would be fine
 
i have a 30 gallon and would also like an eel or an eel-like fish for my tank, any suggestions? id prolly have him in there with a couple of dwarf puffers and a few ADFs. the tank is heavily planted and i will add a cave-rock and/or pipe for the eel.
