Today I was removing a sculpture from an aquarium with kuhli loaches when I discovered a slimy sack dotted with tiny black specks inside the sulpture. Could this be a sack of kuhli loach eggs? The 4 loaches that I have spend almost all of their time inside the sculpture. If the sack does in fact contain eggs what should I do with it? I put it back in the sculpture for now.
Also does anyone think my 3 inch kuhlis would be compatible in a tank with 2 6-7 inch severums and a 3 inch blue acara? As I was trying to put one loach in the severum tank, the acara tried to bite the loach but failed to maim it since the loach was still inside a clear plastic bag. This made me think twice about releasing the loach into the tank.
