My timer won't work!!

I cant tell from the pick but some timers have little pins that you move twards the center for the hours you want the lights to be out. first set the timer to the time now then move the pins to the center for the hours you want the lights out. Some also have an override switch if that is in the timer wont turn off. BTW did you get that driftwood boiled yet?

That sort of looks like my timer. You need to turn the whole timer so that the black arrow is pointing to the current time. Then push the little white pins down for the times you want the lights to be on - I know with mine you had to push the pins pretty hard to get them to go down. Plug it in the outlet and plug in the light (you should have the light on when you do this). Make sure that switch on the right isn't set for override - to determine if it is, leave all the pins up and plug in the light while it is on. If the light stays on, you need to flip that switch and the light should go off - this position is the one you need for the timer to work.

Timers rock my world...
