It grew and spread around in the 10 gallon 20watt refugium, it looks like a sw version of the fw moneywort. It has been dying though (turning bleach white)the past few days in one corner... the rest of the plants are doing great.

First off, should I leave it decay or try to remove it?
Any reason why it would die like that?

not quite sure why it would die out of no where like that but post ur water params and perhaps that may help. definetly remove the decaying matter as it will probably cause an ammonia spike

Just to update yall... I siphoned most of the dead algae/plant in the refugiumm. Ammonia levels are close to 0, no nitrates, no nitrites, and ph aboiut 8.1.
All other algae and plants doin good. :dance2:
thanks
