Does anyone know of any Cichlids that can be kept in high heat (84 to 89 degrees) for a couple of weeks at a time. I am planning on putting a fan toward the tanks and maybe using
frozen water bottles to help with the situation. Thanks for you help.

Bolivian rams can be added to that list.. my discus tank is at 84-88 with bolivians.. I also have bolivians in a tank set at 82
the ones in the discus tank are more colorful.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any more types that can take the extreme heat? I have been told that South American dwarfs: Apistogramma, Microgeophagus, or Crenicichla (the dwarf pikes), can take the heat up to 95°F.

Can any verify this?

i have 3 labs... and 2 bumble bees in about 84* water they're fine
