anyone know where i can get some large planted drift wood from
you could try aquabid they had some nice ones I wanted but ended up buying a really nice one at my LFS. I would try aquabid.

You may also want to have a look on Ebay. I have bought several pieces from a guy who is a wildlife officer in ARK. He mounts them on slate pieces and has had some unique pieces and works well with you. I have a 150gal cichlid tank with three of his pieces in it. The pleco love them as well. Good Luck
