I am alittle confused on the term reef. Some fish are not reef compatible, Does this mean live rock or corals???

The term "reef safe" or "not reef safe" can vary. Usaully, reef safe means it is compatible with most or all of the critters wich sommonly inhabit reefs. To get an example of what I meant by it can vary, view the sticky in the reefkeepers section. Also, some fish won't even think about touching a coral, but aren't safe with the usual reef enviroment.

However, if you put extensive research into your tank's proposed inhabitants, you should know exactly what it is safe with, and not know just that it's "reef safe" or "not reef safe" according to one site/book/person.
