Cleaning my XP3 over the weekend and when re-assembling the intake, the flared end of the intake stem cracked! Very minor, I had to look close to see it, but I heard it. Anyway, it wasn't sucking air.
I have a bunch of pvc in the basement so was thinking of slapping some together in case I need one. I know I can just order one, but it's a DIY forum!
So, the question is, 1/2" pvc has a slightly smaller inner diameter than the original pipe. Will this restricted flow make the pump work too hard and shorten it's "life span"? If I replace the intake, would it be better to replace the outflow too?
