Brilliant Idea!!!

I will be putting together a fish store search and rating website as part of an independent study for my MBA.

It will consist of a google-map interface to search for fish stores in your area, as well as a review tool to rate your LFS on certain criteria. I always see threads about good or bad fish stores, so here's your chance to let the public know your experiences! I hope this will be a really useful tool for the entire fishkeeping community.

And so, if anyone would like to help out, I've put together a little discussion forum with project documents and questions/issues to consider:

I'd really like for the "community" (you all) to be involved in the entire process. In other words, if I am able to gather user feedback from step 1 (where I am now) all the way through completion (Dec. 8th release date) I think the site will be that much more beneficial.

I've already gotten a lot of great ideas from folks on the loaches.com forum, but the thread was getting long and disorganized, so thats why I created a little project forum on my own website.

It would be great if everyone could check it out, read about the project, and maybe provide some feedback or ideas for me on any of the various issues I have posted.

Those are my local shops too, EMG.

I'm going to be doing user interface testing here at UConn when the screens are ready. If you're at all interested in participating I can keep you in the loop. (I'll be using classmates).


Please participate and throw in your $0.02 to the questions I've posted in my mini-forum. The final feature set has to be determined within the next week, so your ideas and suggestions are key!
