Hey, my cons just layed eggs again, but im trying to save them they usually get eaten by the other fish(firemouth,jd). I have a empty 10 gallon i set up a while ago waiting for fish, Can i move the eggs into there without the parents? IF i do does anything special need to be done for them to hatch? thanks

You could remove them without the parents (not recommended).
1.) Take all eggs, or else territoriality of cons will remain.
2.) Have strong aeration in their new tank--makes up for parents' fanning.
3.) Use methyl blue (kills fungus and takes care of parental mouthing).
4.) Feed high-quality fry food for C/A Cichlids.
It is not recommended because you, honestly, I mean any "you" out there, cannot effectively duplicate the conditions which parental care allow for. I would suggest letting this batch be food and then moving the parentals to another tank and let them start a brood there. They may not see a "new" clutch of eggs in the other tank as their own.

Somebody else should answer that...I am not 100% for sure on the answer.
