Wouldn't you be able to use saltwater from a nearby beach for a tank? Would it speed up cycling or already be cycled?

its not recommended to use salt water from the beach b/c of pollutants in the water. also, its not the water that is cycled and holds the bacteria. it is the substrate and rocks which do.
