Hello everyone.
I was just wanting an idea on what kind of fish I could stock in my 15 gal tank. Are there any type of bottom feeders I can have that will be happy in a tank this size? Also I have a fine sand substrate and was also wanting to get some type of low light plants that were easy to grow and take care of as well. Thanks for any help you can give.

Cories are always good for small tanks.

Cory Cats are NOT a good choice for small tanks. Cory cats should be kept in groups of 5-7 and most can reach lengths of 3 inches. Some small tetras or danios would be good choices.

First, I can think of a few species of cories that don't exceed an inch and a half. Second, if everyone kept fish in the size groups that they "should" be kept in, all aquarists would have to have MASSIVE tanks.

corydoras do not need to be kept ina group of six or more. they do perfectly well in a little group of three.
