I am a dumb newie who is sick as a dog and have a tank with brown algae and some greenish blue algae with strands. I am afraid of BGA so I want to blackout tank and go to bed and hopefully in three days the tank and I will get well. Do I put my plants in another tank during the blackout. I am not worried about the brown algae. The greenish blue stands showed up after three nights of my son put the lights on after I went to bed to watch the first fish in the tank. Thanks.
