i usually put in enough from PWC's so i dont have to add any until the next one, but sometimes when the humidity is really low more water eveporates than usual, and the opposite when it is really humid

how much water evaporates on a number of things. the temp of the water, the humidity of the room, whether you have a cover on your tank, surface agitation... in my 75 gallon saltwater tank i couldnt tell you how much water evaporates b/c i have an automatic top off system, but in my 75 gallon freshwater tank i probably lose about an inch of water a week.

mine goes down more then a 1 cm. mine drops a 1-2 each week if not more.

I live in a desert, so I've noticed some water loss as well. I'm still cycling, so I just add the extra inch or so of water during my frequent water changes.
