How do you deal with dumb fish salespeople

I went shopping for brackish tank supplies at three different stores and was told at all three that my GSP will not need full marine as an adult. The newest top dollar saltwater store owner told me I could keep GSP in fresh his whole life. I told him I wanted Kermit to live a long life but he just blew me off. I guess I need to tell the salespeople to go soak their heads next time I try to buy supplies.:mad2:

same from me. around 70-80% of all LFSs and LPSs out there just want to make money, and don't give an airborne fornication weither your fish live of die, as long as it makes you want to buy stuff.
 
Funny thing is, he was trying to buy supplies. That means if they were greedy , they would of sold him stuff.

Ha, LOL! I usually end up teaching the store employees some new stuff. The last two times I've gone, the managers (different one each time) have offered me jobs :D

But I like Freddy's advice best. You have to watch out for yourself, as the consumer.
 
i always like to tell them they're idiots, and then show/tell them why
 
lol, i actually go to a fish store where the people know what they are talking about! Amazing isn't it? They know all the scientific stuff and they know what things go together and if i say i want to put a cichlid with a molly (which i wouldn't) they would tell me no. So i guess i am lucky :p:

My friend has Angels and mollies in the same tank, and they get along just fine. Well, except for when the Angels ate the babies the mollies had..

if they try to tell me somthing that i know itsnt true, and i tell them how it isnt, and then they try to argue it, when they turn around i give them the, "i think youre and iditot and i cant believe someone would hire you since you are so stuipd look" lol
