Fish out of water, How long?

Craziest thing happen, Couple of my plants floated to the top and so I removed them, not knowing my small angel fish was among it.. Seemed like, 8 to 10 mins, I see the plants moving on the table and sure enough was my angel fish flapping around.. Unbelievable, I put it back in the water and after a few mins, it really came back to normal and now a few days later is having a great time in the tank again.. Whew.. Km
 
yup, I've had fish survive for an hour out of water (of course I didn't know they were hiding). These were scale-less fishes who can breathe somewhat through their skin. Scaled fish can also survive as long as their gills remain moist. Dry gills can not exchange gas and they suffocate. As said, their slime coating and the wet plants helped :)
