I've found a 20 gal. long that comes with lids, light, and filter for $25. Is that a good deal or could I find that at any lfs? I hate to drive all the way out to this guy (2 hours!) when I could've gotten the same deal anywhere else. Also, what could I put in a 20 gallon long? Not looking to overstock, just want 1 each of 2-3 different species that I don't already have or 1 breeding pair. I just love africans, more specifically malawis or tangs.

Thanks!!

That's a good deal on the 20 long IMHO. 20 longs are great for quite a few tanganyikan cichlids. Shell dwellers, the smaller julies (dickfeldi, transcriptus, ornatus), even a pair of N. brichardi would do well in there. Heck, a pair of N. brevis with some sand and shells one one side and a pair of julies on the other side in some nice rocks and you'd have a fun tank.

I'm definitely going to get it then, maybe even 2. Might as well make it worth the gas for the trip out there, right? LOL, anyway that I can justify it works...
