Hey

I've recently had to revamp my 10g and I am not going to put the sick guppies back in.

I was hoping to treat them in the containers (about 1/2 gallon) they are in. BUT there is no heater or filter (obviously!) and it is small.

I also do have a 5g qt BUT my dwarf gourami is in there!

I am really trying to not reintroduce sick fish into the 10g

So I can either keep them in containers (or I do have a 15Q bucket) or put them with the gourami (who I am treating with the same, Melafix) but afraid the gourami might get aggressive in small quarters.

Or I guess I could put them back in the 10g - the 3 guppies are missing some scales that I am trying to heal.

if small containers or the bucket are ok ... how many days, is 5 too long?

could you stick a fliter in the bucket? even a sponge filter would be helpful.

Are you saying to just float like a floss bag?

Pretty sure he just means putting a sponge filter on a powerhead. Cheaper than buying a filter in most cases.
