Seems that when he went to Mexico 3 years ago to get that rapist (Max Factor guy) he broke their law or someting, by taking him back across the border ~ I think. I heard this on MSNBC, but haven't looked for on the net yet.

interesting. I've never cared for the guy myself. My boyfriend says he and his sons (?) aren't allowed to carry weapons because they're ex-criminals themselves. hmm, scum chasing other scum.

Who cares if he's a former criminal? What matters is that he has brought thousands of others to justice.

I agree what he's doing is great, however, mullets are frightening and strike fear in the hearts of small children and the elderly!

Ha, LOL!

I shouldn't have called Dog scum (I just can't get past that haircut!), but I personally don't think he's all that heroic. True, he's reformed from his past, but he's running a business first and foremost.

I can't believe that the United States allowed him to be returned to Mexico on a misdameanor because that is what they are saying he is being booked on. They sure didn't complain when he brought the fugitive across the border. They gladly accepted him and put him in jail. They had already spent a couple of days in jail for this when it first happened and now they are being arrested for the same thing again three years later? Something is screwed up if you ask me????

Hes a good guy with bad taste in fashion. The way he treats his "catch" is different. I mean they even pray together before he turns them in. Either hes a good guy or just really good at faking it.

Hey, RTF! Long time no see.

I still think Dog's in it for the money first. If his priority were the people, why didn't he just start a Youth Center or something? There's a lot to made on anything related to bail bonds. I mean, he could be getting close to $100K per head.

That doesn't mean he doesn't care about the people he's trying to "help". But he makes good money on each person he reigns in. If he were really interested in bringing people to justice, why didn't he become a cop?

Of course hes doing it for the money^! Why does everybody else work?!?!

:duh: But hes a good person anyway, going from criminial to justice-keeper.

PS He cant carry guns because hes not a cop and doesnt have the licesnse to shoot or something/

I just remembered some people work because they like their job...Oops :o

He cant become a cop he has a criminal record felonys I think he is doing all he can. There is not much you can do when you are carring around felony convictions for acessory to murder etc. Im sure this is about the only thing he can do as far as criminal justice. If he tried to become a cop they would laugh him right out the door. I think his show is cool but he is a little out there and needs to cut that hair.

:D Yeah, when I'm done with school, I'll have had nearly 10 years of post high school education. And I'm still going to be quite poor. As a marine biologist, I might make less than some public elementary school teachers!!!

It makes me mad when I think about it, but I also know I love what I do :) Which makes me luckier than many.

Shucks, maybe I should quit my current career path and take up bounty huntin'! Would I have to grow a magnificent mullet? The 20-80 female mullet. Or is it the other way around? I meant 20% short on top, 80% bottom layer.

That haircut was around in the late '70s. I wore a mullet before it had a name. My sister, a hair stylist at the time, called it "the haircut like those European soccer players." The name and the haircut started catching on after the 1980 Olympics.

that is too funny. I love keyboard art.

When I first saw a magazine ad for the show, it had Dog in front and his wife in back. I seriously thought she was a streetwalker. In those tiny clothes, high heeled boots, frosted blonde hair, that horrible makeup. I honestly thought she was supposed to represent someone he would crack down on.

i admit i watch the show sometimes...

Tonight there was an episode where they were catching a known drug user/dealer and Dog brought his 18 year old DAUGHTER on the sting with him. I thought that was pretty unbelievable considering she isnt into the whole bounty hunter thing and kind of looks like she would rather be at the mall. They had her "guarding" an entrance to the house lol.
