Hi, durring my water change today i noticed that my gourami has what appears to be popeye on his left eye. all i know is that i need to keep the water as clean as possible. i did a 50% wc. i now plan on doing wc's daily of about 50% i dont have a QT tank but if you tell me i need one ill get it. please help.
Also is Popeye contagious? i know its bacterial...again my knowledge is limited. Thanks

Edit: also i forgot to mention my am is at 0 my nitrIte is at 0 and my nitrAte is about 5ppm
