I had a baby puffer... but he didnt make it... the filter suction was to strong for him. :( so I dont know what im wanting now. The whole reason for setting the tank back up was for some puffers. I dont know I might try them at a later time, but for now, I want somethign in there. I have one ghost shrimp in there thats just hanging around by himself. any Ideas? I dont like tetras, or guppies or mollies, im wanting something different.

Look in sig for options..

out of curiosity, was it a dwarf puffer? Those are often neglected at the store, as they don't take the time to feed them correctly. They're also very susceptible to internal parasites. So by the time you get them home, they're very weak.

yeah I had 2 and the bigger one didnt do so good and i brought him back and they said that alot of them have been brought back lately. The tiny one did good that I had till I didnt even think about the filter and how strong it was for his tiny little body. oh but was he fun to watch. what a personality that they have, and when they eat its fun to watch to

yeah, another member on here had the filter thing happen to his, too. It was already really skinny.

I have 2 dp's in my 10 gal and I love them. I call them my babies.

How about a lovely male betta for your 10 gal? I've got one, too, and they're almost as fun as the dwarf puffers. Mine kills snails. It's actually pretty cute.

Petsmart has been having bad batches of them, its really crappy that they are dying by the truckload... I have 3 in my 10 that are doing great. Before i got those however 2 died within the first day i brought them home. With the right home and care they can be great little guys.

do you like gouramis? any type of livebearer? i have dwarf and flame gouramis which are really cute and dont get to big. you can also do otos for cleaners. bettas?
