a lady i know just brought me a betta that has fungus from head to tail,he can barely get to the surface to breathe, what can i treat him with,i put a little melafix,i have read that it may help.please,i really want to save him.:(

eek, if he's covered all over in fungus, Melafix won't cut it. I'd try a stronger commercial anti-fungal med. Never used 'em myself, cuz I've never gotten it that bad, so maybe someone will have a recommendation.

he's dyeing,im doing all i can to make him compfortable,he is trying to swim and get to the surface.he is in about 2 inches of water so he can get to the air. :( im not giving up on him

yeah, it sounds like he's pretty far along. If it's gotten so bad that it's affecting his movement and all, the meds would probably deal the final blow. Sigh. I guess all you can do is make his final hours as comfortable as you can :(

That's my feeling, that there's not much anyone can do for him now. Maybe someone will come along to tell you different, so keep checking back. It's good you haven't given up all hope for him. He needs someone to believe in him right now.

i think he just died:sad:he's stopped breathing,it makes me so upset to see a liveing creature dyeing that way. :(

oh I"m sorry. It sucks that that lady let him get that bad before deciding to do anything about it. Shame on her.
