Several catfish go by that name. Check out planetcatfish.com and see if you can tell folks which one you got.

I once ran into someone at a soup and salad buffet--it was quite a mess. When I returned to my table I said to my sister, "guess who I ran into?" they said "I don't know" I said "me either, but their food is all over the floor!" It was quite funny, but no one made me buy them after running into them!
I wouldn't buy a fish that I didn't know enough about to know if I could house it and feed it properly. When I started out I thought I'd figured out what could go together using what the lfs told me, and it didn't work at all. Since then I have done lots of research to try to figure out what I can keep together.
As I've done research, I've found that there a lot of fish with very particular needs that I can't really cater to--for instance if I on impulse without doing bought a fish that needed to be in a brakish setting I'd have no way to take care of it.
That said, it doesn't mean that this particular fish wont work with your fish--I'm just thinking of the possibilities.
