well, I still have to let the tank cycle so i won't be adding anything for a while yet. Anyway, I was thinking that in my 10 gallon I could add:

1 betta
2 african dwarf frogs
3-4 shrimp (unsure of what kind)

Well, i was wondering about your opinions as to my stocking choices. Also, what shrimp would you recommend? (inexperienced with shrimp myself. I've never had them before)?
On another note, if you could recommend another type of fish i could use with the other residents instead of a betta, that would be appretiated as well (gives me an excuse to buy another tank for a betta :p: ). For example; would this tank be too small for a dwarf gourami and would it coexist peacefully with the frogs and shrimp? Would another type of fish be good?

I plan on planting this tank and adding some rocks and caves for the frogs and shrimp, just to let you know.

Wouldn't the frogs eventually eat the shrimp?

I am not sure about the betta and shrimp, I have never kept them, but I can say that I have kept an adf with platies and otos with no problem, but then again, otos will get along with almost anyone, I think, they're such nice little guys. A dwarf gourami should be ok in that size tank, but again, not sure about the compatibility with the adf's. Whatever you end up doing, just provide lots of hiding spaces for your frog, (driftwood, plants, small terracotta pots, rocks) so the frog wont stress out too much. Also I have learned from personal experience, that you will probably have to hand feed the frog, as the other fish will most likely eat its food before the frog can get to it. This is why my frogs now have their own tank, but others keep frogs in their community tanks with no issues. Now that I think of it, the frogs may end up eating the shrimp, as vidiots said, they don't see very well, and will quickly dart out at something passing by them, thinking it's food, brine shrimp are a favorite food of adf's. Good luck!

We have a 10 gallon with a betta, 2 ADF's and 5 Zebra Danios. They all seem to get along very well.

You could do that... But im not to sure about the frogs though, Hey why not just devote the tank to the frogs? you know, fill it abot an inch and make some islands out of rocks etc...And you could also have some land plants to make a bog environment?
