I"m sitting here watching my fish (just fed)... My rainbow (about 4-4.5") is kind of pushing around my ebjd (same size), but is getting faced down by my runt honduran red point (about 2" and maybe a third his weight). In the other tank, the mixteco (4") is pushing around my gt (at least an inch bigger and twice his weight). Cichlids are SO much fun to watch - but hard to figure! :D

Agreed! It's a LOT of fun watching them and studying their personalities!

I can't agree more... My Parrot is the boss in my tank. She bosses my two Oscars (at least twice her size) around and has my Severum in her pocket like an old married couple. Its so much fun to watch, especially when she gets jealous when the others are eating food that she can't fit in her mouth and goes on a bunting spree.
