i also have 2 baby severums just bought and one keeps rubbing himself on the driftwood i have and so does my gourami i have with them how can i make them stop doin this please let me know because i know thats not a good sign when they do this

what are your water parameters? ammonia, nitrite, nitrate are most important, but others will help, too. The flashing can be a response to poor water quality, as well as many other things.

Yeah this is sometimes the first sign of ich as well. Look at them close to see if they have any tiny white spots.
