I've had my tank for quite awhile now and some of it looks dirty. Dirty meaning there is sand and some algea thats been scraped from the glass that gets on the LR. How would I go about cleaning it? Should I remove the rock out of my tank to do this or what?

agitate the rock in tank water but dont expose it to air. then you could just scoop up the stuff you dont want.

You can use a turkey baster or marinade syringe to blast it off. While it is suspended, run some filter floss to filter out some of it. A lot of it will resettle, but it might settle in a spot to where your cleaners can get to it.
Do you have pictures of your tank? I was thinking about getting something similar, with comparable livestock.

Thats what I do also, just use your powerhead, and if you have a skimmer or filter that will help clean all the dirt.

What I do just before a water change is aim a powerhead at all the rocks. Especially all the nooks and crannies. Then as I am syphoning out the water, most of the gunk comes with it. I do a 20% wc weekly in my 75.
