I now only have 2 white clouds left after cycling a 30g. I think the last one died of stress because it was always hanging out by himself. I know, I know, unfortunately I found this site AFTER I had already got zebra danios and the white cloulds to cycle. Here's my question, I need to build the white clouds back up to a school of 6 but it probably wouldn't be good to add 4 at once right? It's only been down to 2 for a couple days. Or would it matter in a tank that big? Or will the 2 by themself be okay since they seem to get along okay? I think I eventually want to move them to my 10g once I get it stablized but I will be adding other fish so I probably would want a school of 6 right? Sorry so long!

Add two fish, monitor your water (you DO have a test kit, I hope?) for a week. If your parameters are fine, add two more and monitor.

i may be wrong, correct me if i am,but i think danios are warm/tropical fish and white clouds are coldwater.so you may have a problem with temperature.

white clouds can really be both. i know a few people that have them in both coldwater and tropical tanks, and they do fine, if not better, in the tropical tanks.

BTW... i would add two more today or tomorrow, test the water the day after you ge them, then wait a few days to get the last two.

Even though we're used to seeing Zebra danios in tropical tanks, they can tolerate cold water too, so the two should be fine together.
