Jack Dempsey and Angel Fish-compatible?

Just recently bought a couple of Angel fish; about an inch in diameter at the moment. In my 20 gallon tank, doing good (little shy, but are starting to come out and play.

Sooner or later, they will need more room. I am planning on upgraded the 29 with "Jack" my JD to a 55 or 75 gallon tank soon (might be sooner than I'd planed as he is getting BIG!)

Anyway, enough rambling... Will the Angel and a JD get along and play well together?

The tank will be fully planted (all of the Swords and VAls in Jacks tank will be transplanted as well as some more).

I cannot be the voice of reason because I don't have too much exposure to JD's but I would say off the top of my head, no. Angels are a more delicate cichlid and from what I remember and hear, JD's can be a bit much aggressive-wise for the Angels.

Yes and adult can do a lot of damage. I have even seen some agressive juvs
