Kribensis and Rams question

Hey all, I currently have a 58 gallon tank with a few danios, a paradise fish and two gouramis (dwarfs) I was thinking about adding some Blue Rams and Kribensis.

The tank has alot of plants ands caves.

I was wondering:

1) If the two will be ok in the tank.

2) If I need two get a male/female pair of each or male/male,
for companionship and colouring purposes.

3) Also thinking of cockatoo cichlids as well.
