right now i have a tetra whisper 60 power filter on my 55 gallon tank. i just went and bought a penguin 350 power wheel filter for up to 70 gallons for my 55 gallon. to switch it out with my old filter, can i put it on right away and just put some of the biobags with the bacteria on it in the new filter to help get it established, or how should i go about doing that?
the whisper filter i have on now is just not doing a good job filtering the water....the bags look like a pain in the butt to buy and put together with thecarbon and what-not, and the majority of the water is flowing out of the middle overflow instead of through the sides with the bags, so i need to do something soon....
let me know how to switch them out right, please, thanks!
