Convict Eggs

My uncle just gave me an old 55gal tank. Moved it and fish from Ohio to Kentucky (last week). I set the tank up and in a few days added the fish. Within a few more days I have eggs all over the side of the aquarium. My new convicts have laid eggs. How can I tell if they will hatch, how long will it take, etc???? I am new to all of this and really appreciate any help. Also, some of the eggs have turned white - I assume this is not a good sign.

Congrats! if you have snails they could be from them too... the eggs that turned white are DOA and you can remove them or someone will come along and eat them. Good luck!

It appears that all the eggs are dying. The parents are still guarding but eating the dead ones.
