Hi guys, I need some help on crayfish

I bought two pairs of crayfish about a month ago, i.e.: two pairs of blue crays and two pairs of orange-coloured crays (I didn't have much information on these orange ones). I think they are about 4 month-old (around 4 inches in length). They have not been moulting during these one month. But yesterday I found one of my blue crays, the male one; looked very very weak (sometimes he laid overturned as if he's going to die). I also found that one of his rear legs was easily broken. I've seperated him from the others in a hospital tank, leaving only him and some live fish to feed him. Today I changed the water in the hospital tank because the water smelled bad.

I read that crayfish would look very weak during his moulting. But it only last 2-3 hours before his moulting. Can someone suggest me what happened to my cray ?? Does he in his moulting period or is he sick ?? Should I be worry of his condition ?? Can I do something ?? Any suggestion ??

Please please help me...
Thank you guys

Sorry I can't be much help, but aren't crayfish kind of territorial with each other? Perhaps he was on the losing end?

I agree with you. Crayfish are territorial. I've put four PVC pipes in the main tank and I think they are enough. Until now I've never seen them fight among each others due to territorial matters. Do you think the number of pipes are enough ?? Can u suggest the amounts ??

It might take 2-3 hours for him to molt, not sure how long. But it will take longer for his shell to harden, at that point while his shell is hardening he will be very soft and susceptible of being eaten or picked on by other crays or fish.
