Ways to buy your fishes cheaper..It always worked for me..

I always do this at local fish stores..Once I see a fish I like and when I want to buy several, I talk to the owner/manager and tell him, "If I buy three, can you give me a deal?" I did this at most of my local fish stores and everyone gave me a deal..Today I bought 4 of the same kind of fishes, and I saved a total of $8.00..I talked to the owner thou but it usually works at every store I go to..In the weekend, I am going to try to talk to an owner at a different store, to knock down the price of one fish..Maybe I will save several dollars but it is worth a try..

This does not work at Petsmart or Petco because they are not privately owned..

Well my LFS says "If you buy mroe that 3 fish at a time it voids the garuntee(sp?)"

If you are trying to breed fish and want a large population, taking all the fish they have of a species will often get you a good price. Try to talk to the owner privately- if you blurt you question out in front of other shoppers, they will want a big discount on a single guppy and the owner won't be happy.
